Patients being signposted to Ramsey
Manx Care says the Emergency Department at Noble's Hospital is "currently very busy".
Patients are being asked to consider going to the Minor Injuries and Illnesses Unit (MIU) at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital instead.
The MIU is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and can provide treatment for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries.
They also have X-ray provision today (12 December) until 5pm.
