Public meetings in three constituencies
The first in a series of public meetings ahead of the general election take place tonight (8 Sept).
Voters in Arbory, Castletown and Malew are invited to hear from the seven candidates seeking their vote, from 7pm at the Civic Centre in Castletown.
Five Keys hopefuls on the slate in Garff go before their electors in Dhoon church hall this evening, that meeting also starting at 7pm.
Gatherings for other areas of Garff have been organised - there's a meeting for Onchan section residents tomorrow (9 Sept) and in Laxey a week later, on 16 September.
The third of tonight's meetings is in the south of the Island.
Hustings will be held in Rushen where five candidates are standing, at 7.30pm in Port St Mary town hall.
