Two men to appear in court tomorrow
An 89-year-old man was taken to hospital following a hit and run in Onchan.
The pedestrian was injured and two cars damaged in the incident at Port Jack yesterday.
A Mazda car was found abandoned with extensive damage on the promenade near Summerland, and the area searched.
As a result, two Douglas men aged 30 and 22 were arrested on Victoria Road, and will appear in court tomorrow.
Officers are thanking members of the public for helping at the scene, and say the man is well following the incident.
