
After a year's absence a traditional Eisteddfod will take place in St John’s Methodist Church Hall this Friday (14th).
Children’s classes start at 6.30p.m. and will be followed by competitions for adults in Hymn Raising , solo singing, recitation, stump speech and many other classes.
All the cups from the Cronk y Voddy Eisteddfod have been passed on to St Johns.
Well known local accompanist Marilyn Cannell will be on the piano and Chairman for the night will be Manx Radio's own John Kennaugh.
He will be joined by adjudicators Dot Tilbury and Alan Wilcocks.
Admission is £5 including supper and everyone is welcome.
