Eight-year-old taking on blindfolded walk for Sight Matters

Sofia inspired by blind podcast host

An eight-year-old girl from Douglas is taking on a blindfolded sponsored walk, along Douglas Promenade and back, to raise money for Sight Matters.

Sofia Goodall was inspired by Evie Roberts - the host of the 'Talking in the Dark podcast - who is blind.

Sofia hopes her challenge will help raise awareness of sight loss and encourage others to support the charity.

She told Manx Radio why she wanted to do it:

Sofia's sponsored walk will take place at 2pm on Saturday (25 July).
