Tributes pour in for the English motorcycle racer
Tributes have been pouring in for eight-time Isle of Man TT winner Phil Read MBE, who has passed away at the age of 83.
The English motorcycle racer was also world champion eight times, and the first to do so in the 125 cc, 250 cc and 500 cc classes.
During his TT career, he was noted for competing alongside racing legends Mike Hailwood and Giacomo Agostini.
The official Isle of Man TT Races have passed on their sympathies to Phil's family, describing him as an icon of motorcycle racing.
