One candidate 'left standing' in new selection attempt
Efforts to find a new chief constable for the Isle of Man are still underway.
Gary Roberts is due to retire in December after serving two five-year terms.
In May the Department of Home Affairs confirmed a process to recruit his successor had been unsuccessful.
The post has since been re-advertised and Mr Roberts has told Manx Radio he’s confident someone new will be found:
