New Hospital Youth Service launched
Efforts are underway to break down barriers and raise the independence and self-esteem of young people with long term health conditions.
A new Hospital Youth Service has been launched at the Bridge the Gap pod at Noble’s Hospital.
It will be led by Hospital Youth Coordinator Ben Melling who took up the position in February:
The Pod – which is funded by Bridge the Gap – opened in 2018 and is an age-appropriate space that can be booked for teenagers and young adults.
The space is designed to be somewhere they can spend time with their family or friends when their health conditions allow.
