One headteacher will hold the post at three different schools
The education minister is defending the decision to give two Island headteachers responsibility for more than one school.
The heads of Scoill Yn Jubilee and Willaston are retiring in December, and their replacements are already heads of other schools, posts which they will retain.
Max Kelly will be responsible for Dhoon, Laxey and Willaston, while Adrian Shorthouse will take on Scoill Yn Jubilee as well as Kewaigue.
