Raft of work scheduled for Island schools
WEDNESDAY 21/03
The Minister for Education, Culture and Sport says funding infrastructure improvements in Island schools is an investment in the future.
A raft of work has been outlined recently, including at St Mary's Roman Catholic School in Douglas and Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel and plans for a new Castle Rushen High School, all announced over the last twelve months.
Speaking after giving evidence to a scrutiny committee, Graham Cregeen said ensuring the educational system is top class is essential to ensure the Island remains an attractive place for people to re-locate.
