
The economic development minister has welcomed the opening of the refurbished engineering training centre at Hills Meadow.
Laurence Skelly says the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre is key to supplying the Island's expanding engineering sector with skilled workers.
The facility was reopened earlier this week, after £1 million refit, which was funded by the Department of Education and Children.
It means the department is able to double the number of apprentices it trains there, from 18 to 36.
