Chance to meet champion of cause
A campaign to forge an environmental dimension to Christian faith and worship comes to the Isle of Man this weekend.
A charity which promotes discussion of green issues in churches, is hoping a number of Manx congregations will sign-up to the movement.
EcoChurch shows people how their Christian beliefs can help them look after the planet - and their local community.
Dr Ruth Valerio is theology director of Christian charity A Rocha, which is behind the project
She'll be explaining their aims at two drop-in sessions today - the Green Centre in Douglas between 10am and noon, and at St John's Mill from 1-4pm (26 Nov).
Dr Valerio says caring for the environment sits alongside Christian faith very well:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
