Airline's first international route from Ronaldsway

Direct flights between the Isle of Man and Geneva are to be launched this winter.

EasyJet will operate its first international route from Ronaldsway with flights once a week on Saturdays from 19 December.

The route will provide Manx residents with a direct route to one of Europe's leading Alpine gateways, opening up a wide range of ski resorts across Switzerland, France and the wider Alps.

Ronaldsway Airport Director, Mark Beveridge has welcomed the launch of the new route. He says his team has been working hard to develop routes they believe have been missing from the Island's network, and a direct ski service has long been a priority.

Mr Beveridge says the new route launched by EasyJet reflects the airport's ongoing ambition to enhance connectivity for the Island, working closely with airline partners and other government departments to deliver sustainable services that meet the demands of the community.
