
Air travellers heading for London Gatwick have a choice of operators from today.
EasyJet 's service has begun this afternoon, presenting direct competition for Flybe.
The airline says the success of its Liverpool route has prompted the new service.
It's also praised the updated baggage system at the airport for helping improve its turnaround time - a vital factor for budget air operators.
