Cancellation of Festival of Motorcycling forces decision
Eastern Airways has announced the cancellation of the new Isle of Man – Teesside International route, which had been due to start this summer.
The airline was scheduled to launch the route on 30 May, but when the TT was cancelled, the departure date was delayed to August to coincide with the Classic TT.
Following the cancellation of the Festival of Motorcycling, which incorporates both the Classic TT and the Manx Grand Prix, the company cancelled the flights.
In a statement, Eastern Airways writes that all passengers will be contacted for a refund and they look forward to the return of the event and a wider Isle of Man programme for 2021.
