MHK keen to see government-backed training programmes introduced
The Isle of Man could be missing out on income by not offering government-backed 'earn and learn' qualifications.
That's from Onchan MHK Julie Edge, who recently failed to gain Tynwald support for her calls for a degree and professional qualification framework to be put in place.
She'll raise the issue of the training options available on Island again at this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
With more learning now taking place digitally, she believes it's an opportunity for the Island:
