Police in the south of the Island say they’re disappointed after dealing with a number of drunken youngsters at the Castletown Festival for the second year in a row.
Despite warnings before the event about under-age drinking, the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team says it dealt with a steady flow of young people.
Police supported by Youth Service workers and the town’s commissioners arranged for parents to come and collect their drunken children.
Officers also say they made just three arrests over the course of the day.
