Route remains open after snow and sleet
The Mountain Road remains open, despite heavy sleet and snow earlier today.
Police say driving conditions will be continually assessed throughout the day.
The route has been gritted, but drivers are being reminded to take extra care, and that stopping distances can be up to ten times greater in wintry conditions.
