Police hunt culprit
Police say a driver has abandoned their car after hitting a van in Douglas, in a reported hit-and-run.
Their silver BMW was found at the end of Thorny Road, near Bray Hill shortly after midday.
Officers believe there were two people in the car, which was driven into the back of a blue VW camper van.
It's reported that the van was stationary in a queue of traffic when it happened, at the junction of Quarter Bridge Road and Alexander Drive.
It was then reported the BMW was abandoned and discovered by officers on Thorny Road.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle being abandoned, and the people fleeing the scene.
And if you saw anyone run from that area, call police as soon as you can on 631212.
