Inspector calls for motorists to take responsibility
Educating drivers will play an important role in keeping active travellers safe on the Island's roads.
That's the message from the Isle of Man Constabulary as the government reveals its priority routes to encourage more Manx residents to cycle or walk to work or school.
Improved footpaths, more advanced stop lines for cyclists and new pedestrian crossings are some of the measures being taken to improve safety for those choosing not to use their cars.
