Rainfall for last month was at lowest since 2003, forecasters say
Last month was the driest August the Isle of Man has seen for more than 20 years.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say 23.3mm of rainfall in the gauge was recorded, the least since August 2003.
In terms of temperatures, the mean minimum of 14 degrees celsius was the highest on record for the month of August with the highest temperature of last month being on 12 August at 24.6 degrees celsius.
Elsewhere, sunshine came to 204.8 hours which is about 20 hours up on the long term average.
