Work expected to continue until Monday or Tuesday
A dredging vessel will be working in Douglas outer harbour over the next few days.
Boskalis's Belt arrived in the Manx capital earlier this week, and is expected to continue dredging until Monday or Tuesday.
Last week the infrastructure minister told the House of Keys a specialist contractor would be carrying out heavy plough dredging to tackle a 'hump' in the middle of the harbour ahead of TT.
The build-up of material has previously impacted Steam Packet sailings, with a number of crossings being rescheduled due to the water depth.
A survey vessel operated by Clydesdale Marine is also carrying out surveys of the area.
