Facility now not expected to be complete until July 2021
Dredging is required in the development of a new ferry terminal in Liverpool.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer has confirmed the position following an update on the project in Tynwald.
The news came after a delay was announced to the work, which is set to cost a total of £38 million.
It's now set to be completed by 21 July, 2021.
