Allegations cover three-year period
A woman from Douglas has appeared in court charged with a benefits fraud alleged to have lasted almost three years.
Thirty-four-year-old Victoria Louise Marks of Heather Crescent in Pulrose appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
She faces one allegation she failed to tell the Treasury about a change in circumstances, and six of making false representations to obtain benefits.
Miss Marks didn’t enter pleas to the charges, and was bailed in the sum of £250 to appear in court again on 23 January.
