Those heading south will have to use Broadway
UPDATE: The promenade is now also closed between Marina Road and Port Jack, Onchan for the next two hours.

Motorists using Douglas promenade won't be able to travel from Broadway towards the Sea Terminal due to coastal overtopping.
The Department of Infrastructure's MyProm has announced those heading southbound will be diverted up Broadway.
A yellow weather warning is in place, with waves expected to bring debris onto exposed roads around high tide, which is in the next hour.
The walkway and return lane are closed during this period.
