A Douglas Central MHK says he's keen to see how the Energy Policy Board will 'play out in the coming months'.
Announced last week, it comprises of the chief minister and treasury, infrastructure and environment food and agriculture ministers as well as the chair of Manx Utilities.
The group is aiming to take responsibility for the overall strategic direction, and policy coordination, for all matters relating to the Island's on and offshore energy strategy.
