A man celebrating his 100th birthday has been reflecting on his time on the Isle of Man.
Alexander Gerrard, known to all as Sandy, received a message from the Queen yesterday morning (Fri), and had friends and family visiting from Australia, America and Italy to mark the occasion.
Originally from Scotland, Mr Gerrard moved to the Island while serving with the RAF and married a Manx woman.
