Caught speeding near a primary school
A Douglas man’s been warned he’s close to being banned from driving after speeding near a school in Maughold during TT.
Thirty-four-year-old Przemyslaw Henryk Pasternak, of Belmont Terrace, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeard before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
Police stopped him shortly before 3.30pm on 2 June when they clocked him doing 56mph in a 30 zone at Glen Mona.
Magistrates fined him £260, ordered him to pay £50 prosecution costs and imposed six penalty points on his driving licence, warning him he was just two points away from a ban.
