Weather forecast means display will begin earlier
Tonight's firework display in Douglas has been brought forward due to the forecast weather conditions.
The display had been due to get underway at 8pm, but with heavy rain expected at that time, Douglas Borough Council has decided to move it forward to 6.30pm.
The local authority has been urging motorists heading into town to avoid the prom in a bid to limit congestion.
