Incident happened outside Douglas newsagents
Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Douglas on Sunday morning.
The incident involved three men and happened at 10.30am outside Newsbeat on Bucks Road, when a man was punched in the face.
Officers say he sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Two men have been arrested and are helping police with enquiries.
