Inspector says testing the limit isn't worth it
"Get get a taxi, get a lift, get a bus, but don't drink and drive at all" - that's the message from police after three people were arrested on suspicion of the offence last night (Fri).
The individuals were stopped while driving, and were subsequently taken to Police Headquarters.
One failed the roadside breath test, blew slightly under the limit in custody, and was released - the other two continue to be questioned.
Inspector Gavin Callow says it wouldn't have happened if they'd chosen not to drink at all - a message he's actively circulating on social media.
He says getting behind the wheel isn't worth it:
