Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch issues advice
People are being urged to take care when whale and dolphin watching.
It comes after local charity Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch received reports of boats getting too close to a bottlenose dolphin and her calf.
The organisation is also asking locals not to attempt to 'swim' with them if they come within close distance to the coast.
