DoI sought larger Ramsey marina to tackle waiting list

170 already waiting for berths within Island's marinas

Those behind the Ramsey marina plans say they were asked to increase the size of the development by the Department of Infrastructure.

Director of Ramsey Marina Limited Robin Bromley-Martin told a crowd of 600 at a public meeting that 170 yacht owners are currently on the government's waiting list for berths within the Island's marinas.

One member of the audience questioned the size of the project.

However, Mr Bromley-Martin revealed it was initially going to be much smaller.
