Workers grit 400 miles of road
Motorists are being warned there is still ice on the roads following the period of snowy weather the Island has been experiencing.
The Department of Infrastructure has gritted almost 400 miles of Manx road since yesterday morning.
A large number of main routes around the Island were closed due to heavy snow, ice, and resulting collisions - the Mountain Road remains closed.
Crews also cleared busy footpaths and kept salt grit boxes topped up for residents to dip into.
Standby crews are being deployed over the weekend.
