Horse excrement to be swept away
Douglas promenade should soon be a bit cleaner.
Infrastructure chiefs have secured a sweeper which horse tram staff will use to sweep the centre of road each day.
The issue of horse excrement was raised in Tynwald by Douglas East MHK, Clare Bettison.
DoI Minister, Ray Harmer, told her the department had to act after taking over the running of the horse tram service from Douglas Corporation:
