Bulk gritters to be deployed
Plans are in place to combat the cold weather front set to hit the Island over the coming days.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed it will be deploying bulk gritters to maintain safe driving conditions on primary routes.
Roads are set to be treated after the evening rush hour or from 5am before the morning commute.
Grit is also free to collect from civic amenity sites and from 850 salt bins around the Island.
