New App based system will be launched soon
Car parking barriers at Ronaldsway Airport which have cost government thousands of pounds in lost revenue were designed for internal – not external – use.
That's the admission from the infrastructure minister who says he's 'really upset' about the parking situation at the southern port.
Last year government collected just over £1,000 in car parking fees due to the barriers only being in operation between August and November.
Tim Crookall has told Manx Radio someone visited the Island last week to start the rollout of a new system:
