
The Department of Infrastructure has been dealing with more flooding at several locations around the centre of the Island today.
The main A1 Peel road between Greeba and Ballacraine was closed while workers tried to clear the area of standing water.
It followed more torrential downpours in the area.
The DOI also reported floods in the Laurel Bank area, Lower Foxdale and Cronk y Voddy
Motorists are reminded that staff could be working on roads across the Island to try and alleviate flooding problems and should drive with extreme caution.
