Air med helicopter called to Ballaugh
A dog walker had to be evacuated from one of the Island's plantations by helicopter after suffering a fall.
Douglas Coastguard, the paramedics and an air med helicopter were all needed to get the person to safety yesterday afternoon.
A group of passing bikers also stopped to help with the evacuation over rough ground at Ballaugh to the coastguard's 4-wheel drive vehicle.
The casualty was then transferred to the waiting helicopter to be taken to hospital.
