Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Week being marked on Island
It's believed six percent of the population on the Isle of Man has been diagnosed with diabetes.
This week marks Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Week - a time to increase awareness around the condition.
Dr Joannis Vamvakopoulos is a consultant in endocrinology at Noble's Hospital:
He says people who are diagnosed with type-two diabetes can reverse the condition within three to five years.
