'Distinctive' mountain bike stolen from Ballabeg area

Police are appealing for information after a 'distinctive' mountain bike was stolen in the south of the Island.

The black ‘Cannondale’ bike, which 'has distinctive yellow handles and yellow writing', was taken from the Ballabeg area.

Officers say 'such thefts are often opportunistic, and we can all help ourselves by securing bikes either in locked sheds or with a decent bike-lock'.
