
An Island-based Christian group says plans to introduce same sex marriage in England and Wales were a fait accompli.
A Christian Concern officially asked the Queen to refuse to give royal assent to a Bill which would allow same-sex marriages.
That request has been turned down.
However, while a member of the group says he’s disappointed, Peter Murcott admits he’s not surprised as there was no proper consultation over the issue.
