Legislation being phased in from January
The manager of an Island disability charity says new legislation will not come at a great cost to business owners.
The recently-approved Disability Discrimination Act will force providers of goods and services to make themselves more universally accessible.
The legislation will be gradually implemented over four years, starting from January 2016.
Peter Hindley is the manager of the Manx Workshop for the Disabled, where all staff members are handicapped.
