Local anti-vaxxing campaigner Courtenay Heading has filed a misconduct case against David Ashford.
It relates to Mr Ashford's time as minister for health and social care.
Deemster Corlett will hold a directions hearing on Wednesday morning at Douglas courthouse to decide whether or not there is a case to be heard.
