Manx diabetics forecast to increase from 4,500 to 7,000
It would be difficult for the Island's diabetic team to manage if patients continue to be diagnosed at the current rate.
That's according to the lead diabetes specialist nurse at Noble's Hospital's Diabetes Centre.
As part of Diabetes Prevention Week, Manx residents are being encouraged to complete Diabetes UK's risk calculator to find out if they're at risk of developing the condition.
