Loss of free prescriptions unfair says MDG
There are concerns sufferers of chronic illnesses will be forced to pay for essential medication, if proposed changes to the health service are approved.
Government announced plans to raise fees for prescriptions a fortnight ago.
But also put forward is the removal of exemptions for conditions like epilepsy and diabetes.
It's thought around 500 Island residents need daily injections of insulin to keep themselves alive.
