Figure includes costs relating to two high court appeals
The Department of Health and Social Care's legal bill for the Dr Rosalind Ranson tribunal now stands at almost £700,000.
The figure has been revealed in response to a Freedom of Information request, submitted by Manx Radio.
The request sought a breakdown of the legal costs of two high court appeals held last year, as well as the remedy hearing held earlier this year.
The DHSC says it's not required to undertake such analysis under the Freedom of Information Act, but did confirm the total cost to date is £676,184.51, excluding VAT.
It includes £31,500 of Dr Ranson's legal fees, after she was awarded costs in relation to the two appeals.
