Health Minister wants Island to be competitive in consultants market
The Island needs to ensure it can be competitive in the consultant market.
That's according to the Health Minister, who was asked for an update on changes to consultants' pay at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
David Ashford confirmed a clear policy will be in place by the end of the current financial year.
He admits there hasn't been a consistent system in place previously:
Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
