Health services forecast to be over budget
An extra £8m is needed by the Department of Health and Social Care for the rest of the current financial year.
Health Minister David Ashford will ask Tynwald to approve the additional funds at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
At the December sitting of the Island's parliament, it was revealed the department was expected to be £5.4m over budget.
If approved, the figure will be taken from Treasury's General Revenue.
