Department "acted appropriately" says CM
The Chief Minister has praised the health department for its response to an error which saw two dozen Island women recalled for breast cancer screenings.
It emerged last week that a number of patients who had received check-ups between 2015 and 2017 may not have been properly assessed.
The situation has been blamed on the actions of a single radiologist, who has since left Noble's Hospital.
An investigation has been launched by health bosses.
Howard Quayle - who was health minister until 2016 - says the department has acted appropriately.
